About - Parkmore Today

Location
Parkmore Switchgear has a solid base that is geographically central to Ireland, on the main Dublin to Galway route (N6). We boast a Transportation System, with our own fleet of vans and lorries. These two facts enables us to provide the same day service to all our Irish customers and ports.

Purpose built premises
The modern facility in Derrymullen, Ballinasloe, includes Administration, Sales, Design, Engineering, Stores, Assembly and Test departments - all under one roof.

Due to specialisation, Parkmore Switchgear no longer designs and fabricates their own steelwork. Instead, shipments are received every two weeks from the Danish steelwork fabricator, CUBIC.

Associations
Parkmore Switchgear works with all leading national and international Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineers.
The company is very proud of its excellent relationship with Consulting Engineers and Contractors. Testimony to this is the fact that many Consulting Engineers think of Parkmore Switchgear first, and many new contracts result from past projects.

Exports
Exports began as recently as April 2004, when the company was asked to supply a large engineering park in the English Midlands. Since then exports have accounted for a growing percentage of the deliveries. Exports have recently included supplying electrical systems, equipment and services to an airport in Lybia, and to an Iron Ore mining company in Sierra Leone.
